Key midfielder seen in Liverpool training ahead of Galatasaray clash

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister was seen in training ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League game against Galatasaray , after being taken off with a knock against Wolves.

Mac Allister has been a vital player for Arne Slot this season and has started 24 league games. The Dutchman and Liverpool fans would have been worried when he was seen limping off against Wolves on Friday , but it seems he will be alright for the Reds’ trip to Turkey this week.

Florian Wirtz was also in training, as he continues his recovery from injury. The German forward made his first appearance since February 14 when he came on against Wolves in the 3-1 win.

Federico Chiesa was not in the training session, and also didn’t come off the bench in the FA Cup game against Wolves. Slot should give an update on the Italian in his press conference before the UCL match.
