Man Utd set sights on Andoni Iraola but face competition from three Premier League rivals

Manchester United and Tottenham are among the Premier League clubs who could pounce if Andoni Iraola decides to leave Bournemouth at the end of the season.
The Cherries head coach, 43, has been a revelation since succeeding Gary O'Neil on the south coast back in the summer of 2023, guiding Bournemouth to their best ever Premier League finish last season. Unfortunately for them, Iraola's work has not gone unnoticed elsewhere and with his contract up this summer, potential suitors are starting to emerge.
A number of top-flight clubs are set to seek new managers ahead of the 2026-27 campaign including Manchester United and Spurs, both of whom are admirers of Iraola according to The i Paper .
They also claim that Crystal Palace - who will replace the outgoing Oliver Glasner at the end of the season - are another team who are keen on Iraola, who has further enhanced his stock over the past six months by keeping Bournemouth on the rise after losing key players.
While Iraola has been discussed in relation to the United and Tottenham vacancies, he is now said to be a direct target for Crystal Palace, as well as on the radar of clubs in Italy and Spain. Intriguingly, Glasner has been touted as a possible target for both United and Spurs, who have made interim appointments to see them through to the summer.
Bournemouth, however, still hope they will be able to persuade Iraola to extend his spell with them despite opening contract talks with the former Rayo Vallecano coach a year ago.
The same report notes that the club plan to re-open contract talks with Iraola during the upcoming international break and hope that Iraola will take note of how the likes of Thomas Frank fared after moving on following success at a stable club.

Crucially, Bournemouth are in a position where they will be able to invest in the summer without selling after being forced to cash in on assets like Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Antoine Semenyo over the past two transfer windows.
As one of the clubs set to take stock of their managerial situation in the coming weeks, Manchester United have seen a significant upturn in results and performances since handing the reins to Michael Carrick .
It remains to be seen, though, if Carrick will land the job full-time, with United continuing to be linked with other coaches.
