It has been a solid night in front of goal for West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen .

Nuno EspÃrito Santo's side are in cup action against Premier League rivals Brentford this evening and they raced into an early lead inside the opening 20 minutes as Bowen poked the ball home at the back post.
Their lead was short-lived, however, as the visitors clinched an equaliser less than 10 minutes through Igor Thiago, who has now reached 20 goals in all competitions this season.
The drama kept unfolding, though, and West Ham were given an opportunity to restore their lead before the break from the penalty spot.
As he so often does, Bowen stepped up once again to score the spot kick and put the hosts back in front.
