Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah have been ruled out of Chelsea ’s Premier League match against Everton on Saturday due to injury.
Chalobah was stretchered off with an ankle injury during Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat at home to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
James, meanwhile, injured his hamstring during the defeat to Newcastle United last Saturday and missed the loss to PSG at Stamford Bridge this week.
During his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Rosenior issued an update on both Chalobah and James ahead of his side’s trip to Everton this weekend.
‘It wasn’t until later after the game that I saw the image, and then you’re really worried,’ Rosenior said of Chalobah.

‘Fortunately it’s nowhere near as serious as we first feared. We’re looking at maybe six weeks.’
On goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen and James, Rosenior said: ‘Filip had his scan and needed a minor operation. It’s a matter of weeks.
‘We’re going to look more at Reece more after the international break. It’s not serious but there’s something in his hamstring we’re going to look at it after the break.’
