Ryan Reynolds will hope high-flying Wrexham take down Premier League giants Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup . It is top-flight versus Championship on Saturday evening as the Blues visit the Racecourse Ground for a blockbuster cup clash.
The Red Dragons sneaked past Ipswich Town in the previous round with Josh Windass scoring the only goal of the game to nudge his side into the next phase. Meanwhile, Chelsea thrashed Hull City 4-0 with a hat-trick from Pedro Neto and an Estevao strike to send them into the fifth round.
Reynolds took over Wrexham in 2021 alongside Rob McElhenney and they've since achieved three successive promotions under boss Phil Parkinson. The Premier League is now in the Welsh outfit's sights.
They're on course for the play-offs in the second tier, although the domestic cup competitions offer a chance to cut their teeth against tough opponents - and the small matter of silverware. Here, Mirror Football has a closer look at the Wrexham co-owner, including his current wealth and a dig at a massive corporation nickname.

Reynolds' smart business endeavours have been attracting significant attention in recent years. The Canadian actor has demonstrated a talent for intelligent investments and is now estimated to have a net worth of between $400million (£300m) and $448m (£336m).
A substantial portion of that fortune allegedly stems from his holdings in Mint Mobile, which was acquired by T-Mobile in 2023, with his share reportedly valued at over £200m. He also owned a 20% stake in Aviation Gin before it was purchased by drinks giant Diageo for approximately £450m.
Reynolds and McElhenney have subsequently sold off part of Wrexham to Apollo Sports Capital (ASC). This represents another significant milestone, with the club now estimated at an eye-watering £350m.

Earlier this year, the pair successfully recouped £15m in loans from the club, and it's deals like these that demonstrate their commercial acumen.
Reynolds' main job in the film industry cannot be overlooked. Forecasts suggest his yearly income from acting work is roughly £100m, made up of new projects and royalties from previous roles.
The actor was instrumental in catapulting Wrexham into the spotlight, largely through their FX series Welcome to Wrexham. This represents yet another income source in which he and fellow owner McElhenney will command a greater share, resulting in a bigger slice of any profits generated.
Reynolds is happily married to actress Blake Lively , and they share three daughters and one son. But before Lively entered his life, he was formerly married to another Hollywood star - Scarlett Johansson .
The romance began shortly after his split from former fiancée Alanis Morissette and moved swiftly. Reynolds and Johansson announced their engagement just over a year after making their relationship public, and they married in September 2008.

However, the marriage proved short-lived, collapsing after barely two years when the pair announced their separation . By July 2011, the divorce had been finalised, and just months afterwards, Reynolds confirmed his relationship with Lively.
In May 2011, Reynolds acknowledged he was still "in pain" following the divorce and has largely remained silent about the relationship. Johansson, meanwhile, described Reynolds as "a good guy" when his name came up during a 2023 conversation on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop podcast.
Reynolds submitted his own response to rivals dubbing Wrexham 'Disney FC' following James McClean's exit in January. The Irishman returned to Derry City during the transfer window earlier this year and thanked the Welsh outfit for their support.
He said: "It's genuinely been the most incredible and enjoyable couple of years I have had. A huge thank you to @vancityreynolds and @robmac, who are two incredible people by the way, for giving me the opportunity to be part of the magic that is Wrexham – or to people outside of Wrexham, 'Disney FC.'"

This small mention points out the nickname that many opposition fans use for the Red Dragons. The club feature on Disney+ for a popular documentary called Welcome to Wrexham, which showcases their successful promotion bids to the masses.
This moniker emerged as a common insult towards the team, and Reynolds acknowledged it directly. He said: "Usually, we start each episode with something funny or heartwarming, but this week I think we should address what people have been saying about us.
"You know, the Disney thing. We get it, there are similarities. We like parades, we like fans, we like costumed characters and merch. I could go on."
Co-owner McElhenney interjected: "We invite you all to come experience that magic with us through the tale of Disney FC. The rest of you jaded p***** can go f*** your f****** selves."
McElhenney added: "Two things. One, to all the opposing clubs that are upset we didn't choose them and went with Wrexham instead, I am sorry. And two, what was two again?"
Reynolds replied: "One was sorry we thought Wrexham was more special than the other clubs, and two was," before the pair ended the segment by making rude gestures at the camera.
