Neymar's father furious after Ancelotti forgets about his son

T he crisis between Neymar Jr. and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has added a new chapter of tension. After it was confirmed that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has left the Brazilian star out of the squad for the upcoming friendlies against France and Croatia, the reaction of the player's inner circle was not long in coming.

Despite the fact that the national team is preparing for the World Cup that begins on June 11, Ancelotti has decided to opt for renewal, leaving Neymar in the background. This decision provoked a series of intentionally charged posts from the player's father, who used his social networks to launch direct barbs at the coaching staff.

Through his Instagram account, the father of the "10" broke his silence with a message that many interpret as a criticism of the coach's lack of confidence. In one of his most commented publications, the player's father wrote:

Not everything happens in the time we want, but everything has a purpose. Now it's time to look ahead, focus on the present and do what you love. We have to go through the process

These statements come at a critical time, just as Brazil is preparing to debut its new gala kit against France on March 26. The absence of the country's top figure in such an important showcase as the United States has set off alarm bells about his true role in the Ancelotti era.

This is how the Ancelotti era is going

Since taking charge of Brazil, Ancelotti has eight games under his belt with a record of four wins, two draws and two defeats.

With this fifth call-up, the Italian makes it clear that his priority is group cohesion over individual hierarchies, even if it means dispensing with the national team's all-time leading scorer just a few months before the World Cup.
