Mo Salah Next Club Odds: Saudi, MLS and top European clubs target outgoing Liverpool winger

Mohamed Salah has emerged as a strong candidate for a move to Saudi Arabia, according to bookmakers, after it was confirmed he will be leaving Liverpool . The Egyptian forward announced his departure in a statement on Tuesday night, bringing an end to his illustrious nine-year spell at Anfield.

It has since been revealed that Salah and Liverpool have agreed he will leave on a free transfer this summer. While the club will not receive a transfer fee, they will save on his reported £400,000-a-week wages.

Speculation is already mounting over Salah’s next destination. However, his agent, Ramy Abbas, has clarified that no deal has been agreed with any club at this stage. Taking to social media, Abbas wrote: “We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows.”

It will certainly mean a lot of activity in the odds market as Mo Salah becomes the hottest signature in the summer transfer window for any top club going.

William Hill's Lee Phelps said: “Mohamed Salah’s decision to announce his Liverpool exit before the season ends has immediately shifted focus onto his next move, and from our point of view, a switch to Saudi Arabia is very much the likeliest outcome at even-money.

“MLS is the main overseas alternative at 3/1, while Newcastle are seen as the most likely Premier League landing spot at 16/1, but given the strength of Saudi interest in recent years, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him competing in the Saudi Pro League next season.

“A host of European destinations are also on the cards, such as PSG and Barcelona, but they're considered outside chances at 12/1, followed by Turkish giants Galatasaray (16/1) and Salah’s former club Roma (16/1).”

Salah has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the past and was the subject of a £105 million bid from Al Ittihad in 2023, which Liverpool rejected. Salah stayed at the club and played a key role in their 2025 Premier League title win.

Following the latest developments, the bookies now lists a move to any Saudi Pro League side as the most likely outcome for Salah, with odds of 13/10. A transfer to Major League Soccer in the United States is the next most likely option, with odds of 15/8.
