Premier League Player of the Season nominees confirmed as Arsenal stars dominate

Arsenal stars Declan Rice , David Raya and Gabriel are among the top-flight players in the running to be named Premier League Player of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Gunners have enjoyed a stunning season and could be crowned as champions over the coming weeks. Mikel Arteta 's side currently sit two points clear at the top.
A number of their players have shone throughout the campaign and have now been nominated for a major award. The Premier League have confirmed that England midfielder Rice has been nominated, having scored four goals and notched seven assists in 35 appearances this term.
He will be competing against teammates Raya and Gabriel, the pair having put together an impressive defensive record for Arsenal . Spanish goalkeeper Raya has secured 18 clean sheets in 36 games and has already guaranteed himself the golden glove.
He has no doubt been helped by Brazilian defender Gabriel, who has been imperious at the back for the Gunners, while he has also scored three goals.

Title rival Erling Haaland is unsurprisingly among the nominees, having netted 26 goals so far this term. The Norwegian frontman is joined by City teammate Antoine Semenyo. He has 16 goals to his name in the league, having represented Bournemouth before a January move to Man City.
In the race for the Golden Boot, the City duo have been rivalled by Brentford and Brazil striker Igor Thiago, who has scored 22 goals in the league this season. He has also earned himself a nomination for the Premier League player of the season.
Across Manchester , Bruno Fernandes has also secured himself a nomination following a brilliant campaign. The Portuguese has scored eight goals and provided 20 assists to fire United back into the Champions League . The 31-year-old has already been named the FWA Player of the Year.

The final nominee is Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. He has scored an impressive 13 goals and notched four assists to guide the Midlands side away from their relegation fears.
Supporters have the chance to vote for their player of the season until midday on Monday 18 May. Those votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, which will be formally announced next week.
Away from the players, the Premier League have also confirmed the Manager of the Season nominees. Title chasers Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola are among the favourites, while Michael Carrick is a contender having guided Manchester United back into the Champions League.
Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola, Brentford boss Keith Andrews and Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris are also nominated.
