Premier League fixture changes in May as Man Utd vs Liverpool date and time set

The Premier League have finally announced when Manchester United will host Liverpool at Old Trafford. Before the season began, the league said the approximate date for announcing the matches selected for live television broadcast in match week 35 would be 25 March.

United will welcome Liverpool to Old Trafford at 3:30pm on Sunday, May 3 with the game selected for Sky Sports coverage. But that isn't the only game selected for live broadcast, with Tottenham Hotspur's trip to Aston Villa set to be shown on TNT Sports the day before (12:30pm on Saturday, May 2).

Having been pencilled in for Saturday, there is a possibility the match could be moved to Sunday if Villa reach the Europa League semi‑finals. Unai Emery's side would play that tie on the Thursday and would therefore host Spurs on the Sunday.

Arsenal have also been scheduled to play Fulham on Saturday at 5.30pm, with Sky Sports televising the match. Meanwhile, Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace, Newcastle United vs Brighton & Hove Albion, and Wolves vs Sunderland are all set for 3pm kick‑offs.

Due to the Saturday blackout, those matches will not be shown live in the UK.

On Monday, in an unusual kick‑off slot, Liam Rosenior's Chelsea will face Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge at 3pm, with the match shown on Sky Sports.

Matchweek 35 will then conclude that evening, when Everton host Manchester City at the Hill Dickinson Stadium (8pm) on Sky Sports.
