Man Utd handed clear transfer message by forward with 51 goal contributions

Club Brugge sensation Christos Tzolis has revealed he would welcome the chance to sign for Manchester United should the opportunity arise.

United are anticipated to be linked with a string of potential new signings during the summer transfer window, with speculation expected to intensify over the coming weeks.

Tzolis joined Brugge in the summer of 2024 from German outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf, having previously had a stint in the Premier League with Norwich City .

The Greece international has put together an outstanding campaign for Brugge, netting 22 goals and registering 29 assists across all competitions.

This has fuelled speculation that yet another transfer could be on the horizon for the 24-year-old this summer. He doesn't currently feature on United's shortlist, but the Red Devils are seeking a new left winger once their problems in central midfield have been resolved and Tzolis has already made it abundantly clear he'd leap at the chance to join them.

“United could convince me,” he said in an interview with Het Nieuwsblad . “Such a massive club with so much history. It would be hard to say no to that.”

Tzolis also dropped a hint about where he could be headed should he depart Brugge, insisting that top-level European football would need to be on offer for him to consider leaving.

“It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy. Only PSG is a better option than those clubs,” Tzolis added.

United have previously been linked with a move for Tzolis, who was also reportedly a target for Crystal Palace at the start of the campaign.

However, the forward has apparently ruled out the prospect of heading to Selhurst Park this summer. “The Crystal Palace train has already left the station for me,” he said.

United received a significant boost to their summer transfer ambitions after clinching a place in the Champions League.

It remains unclear which players United will target this summer, though a new midfielder is widely anticipated to be high on the agenda following Casemiro's departure from Old Trafford when his contract runs out at the end of next month.

Atalanta star Ederson and Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali have both been mentioned as potential arrivals at United this summer.

Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson has also been linked with a move to United, with the £100million-rated England international equally coveted by Manchester City .
