Manchester United have added Chelsea outcast Tyrique George to their list of potential signings as they aim to bolster their wide options. The Red Devils are unlikely to add any new faces this season as they continue to search for a permanent head coach following Michael Carrick ’s stint at the helm.
But club chiefs have already started planning for the summer window. A new midfielder is one of their priorities, while a left-winger is also on their shopping list.
According to Mail Online , Chelsea ’s Tyrique George is one of a number of options being considered, having been told he can leave Stamford Bridge . The 19-year-old made 26 appearances for Chelsea last term, scoring three times, but he has seen opportunities completely dry up this term.
He has made 11 appearances this season, albeit he has not played a single minute in the Premier League since a 2-1 defeat against Sunderland back in October. It was previously suggested that Chelsea are open to George leaving either on loan or permanently, albeit any temporary move had to be worth it for the Blues.

The forward was previously close to a £22m move to Fulham in the summer, albeit that switch fell through at the last minute. Speaking in an interview with Mirror Football about his initial move to Chelsea, he said: “I was emotional, if I’m being honest.
“All my friends were in North London, so me moving away, it did feel like a completely new area, a new city. It was tough, but as I said, it was probably worth it. I enjoyed it, to be fair. I was excited once I got there. I saw the kids and was excited just to go into the new school, to meet new people. It was closer to training so it wasn't too bad after a month or two.
“I didn’t really want to move to South Croydon. Basically, my whole life was in North London in Camden. But it was a decision I had to make for my career. It was a good part of my journey.

“But I think it was the best decision I ever made, one of them definitely. I feel like I’m doing well for myself so I’m happy and I just have to continue.”
George is not the only Premier League star being considered by United. Everton ’s Iliman Ndiaye is also an option, while AC Milan’s Rafael Leao has been touted for a move, with the Italian side now open to cashing in on the Portuguese wideman.
