Old Trafford sets the stage for a potential managerial audition on Sunday, as Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace visit Manchester United in the Premier League. United come off a narrow 1-0 win over Everton, while Palace arrive buoyed by reaching the Conference League last 16.

After a brief setback at West Ham, Michael Carrick’s United bounced back at Everton, with substitute Benjamin Sesko netting his seventh league goal of the season—his fifth in six games since Ruben Amorim’s departure. That result keeps United three points ahead of both Chelsea and Liverpool in fourth, and just three behind third-placed Aston Villa. With 16 points from their last 18, United are the Premier League’s form team, unbeaten since Boxing Day and riding a three-match home winning streak, having scored multiple goals against Tottenham, Manchester City, and Fulham.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have enjoyed a recent upturn, following a 2-0 Conference League win over Zrinjski Mostar and a narrow victory against Wolves. After enduring a 12-match winless streak, Palace have now won three of their last five games in all competitions, including back-to-back wins for the first time since December. However, they remain in the bottom half of the table and have managed just one win in their last eight away matches, though they have both scored and conceded in seven of those games.

Palace lost 2-1 to United at Selhurst Park in November but have won their last two visits to Old Trafford. Another victory would make them the first London club to win three consecutive Premier League games at the Theatre of Dreams.

Manchester United’s only concern from the Everton match was Bryan Mbeumo limping off late, but his injury is not thought to be serious and he should be available this weekend. Lisandro Martinez (calf) and Mason Mount (knock) remain doubtful, while Patrick Dorgu (thigh) and Matthijs de Ligt (back) are still sidelined. Benjamin Sesko, who leads the league with five non-penalty goals in 2026, may have earned a starting spot over Amad Diallo.

Crystal Palace emerged from their win over Zrinjski without new injuries. Maxence Lacroix returned from a groin problem to start and score, but Jefferson Lerma (hamstring), Jean-Philippe Mateta (knee), Cheick Doucoure (knee), and Eddie Nketiah (thigh) remain out. Evann Guessand, who scored off the bench against Wolves and again in Europe, is pushing for a start at Old Trafford.
