Strasbourg ultras to join Chelsea fans in protests against 'BRUTAL' owners ahead of Man United clash
Strasbourg ultras will travel to London next month to stage a protest march alongside Chelsea supporters against the owners of the two sister clubs.
Chelsea protest group NotAProjectCFC have announced the demonstration will take place before their club’s home game versus Manchester United on the night of Saturday April 18.
It will involve NotAProjectCFC and four travelling groups from Strasbourg called Ultra Boys 90, Kop Ciel et Blanc, Federations des Supporters du RCS and Pariser. Both Chelsea and Strasbourg are owned by the Clearlake Capital-Todd Boehly consortium, BlueCo.
NotAProjectCFC previously staged their own protest outside of Stamford Bridge in January involving up to 200 people. However, it received mixed reviews as their ‘BlueCo Out’ message was muddied with attendees singing songs for their former head coach Enzo Maresca and others.
Now, they will have reinforcements flying in from France, with fans of both Chelsea and Strasbourg unhappy with how their clubs are run. Liam Rosenior made the switch from one side to the other when he replaced Maresca as the new Blues boss.
A statement from NotAProjectCFC on Friday evening read: ‘As a result of the continued erosion of values at both football clubs, we have decided to come together to take action with one clear, unified message: BlueCo Out.

Strasbourg supporters have long been uncomfortable with their status as Chelsea's sister

‘Members of Ultra Boys 90, Kop Ciel et Blanc, Federation des supporters du RCS and Pariser section have kindly agreed to fly over to London and walk in unison with us on a protest march towards Stamford Bridge ahead of the match.
‘Supporters of both clubs are invited to join us on this march. We plan to shine a light on not only the incompetence and mismanagement at Chelsea Football Club, but also the restrictions implemented by multi-club ownership, where clubs like RC Strasbourg are being stripped of their identities, and where longstanding and respected fan groups are being censored and repressed by a brutal ownership.
‘We believe this could be a seismic moment in the history of football, where fans of clubs from separate countries will come together to do what is right not only for our clubs individually, but for the sport more widely. Together, we can force change.’
NotAProjectFC last week revealed how they met a ‘club director’ for what was supposed to be a confidential sit-down in February. Daily Mail Sport can confirm that was board member, Danny Finkelstein, who was accused of telling the group it is ‘f***ing obvious we’re building one of the best teams in the world’, which those in attendance disagreed with.
