Carlos Henrique Casemiro and Luka Modric , former Real Madrid players now at Manchester United and AC Milan, were reunited for the friendly match between Croatia and Brazil on Wednesday 1 April. The match will be played at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando and the two players met at the Universal Studios theme park.
The Brazilian and the Croatian had a lively chat full of jokes in which they were able to remember their glory days at Real Madrid alongside Toni Kroos , the third protagonist of an unrepeatable midfield.
In the video distributed by the organization of the match, the two former Real Madrid players share an emotional embrace. Casemiro gives Modric the Brazil shirt with the number 10 and the Croatian's name on the back, and Modric does the same with one of his national team shirts for his beloved former teammate, showing that the friendship between them endures no matter how much time passes.
