Is Welbeck staking an England claim with latest PL goal? 🏴
Thomas Tuchel, are you watching?
Brighton & Hove Albion have taken an early lead against Liverpool at American Express Stadium.
And it was the ever reliable Danny Welbeck who got the early goal.
After less than 15 minutes played, Diego Gómez found Welbeck at the back-post with a header across the face of goal. The veteran striker climbed over the back of Ibrahima Konaté to head in his 11th league goal of the season, his most ever in a Premier League campaign.

Welbeck is now has more PL goals than any other English player this season, overtaking Leeds' Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Unfortunately for the Seagulls, were Liverpool gifted an equaliser as Milos Kerkez pounced on a poor headed back-pass from Lewis Dunk.
But, given Welbeck's consistency this season, you have to wonder if England manager Thomas Tuchel would consider including him in his World Cup squad.
Do you think Welbeck deserves a World Cup spot?
