📈 New Roma ace continues to fire with Derby del Sole opener

Donyell Malen's new lease on life since arriving in Serie A continues with another goalscoring effort in the Derby del Sole against Napoli .

Looking to pounce on the Scudetto-holder's recent struggles, Gian Piero Gasperini looks on with delight as the Dutch international added yet another strike to his account in the early days of his time in the Italian capital, with Malen bagging the opener in the seventh minute.

After first rising to domestic prominence with Dutch giant PSV Eindhoven, the 27-year-old struggled to cement his reliability at both Borussia Dortmund and, most recently, Aston Villa.

But a January move to Stadio Olimpico has brought the versatile forward to life, with Malen now on four goals in his first five appearances for the Giallorossi .
