Forest buck a frustrating trend to pile pressure on hapless Spurs 🌲
A battle between relegation-threatened Tottenham and Nottingham Forest was likely not on the 2025/26 bingo card for many fans and neutrals alike.
But in what has transformed into a disastrous campaign for two iconic names across English top-flight history, it's Forest that have taken a vital 1-0 lead into the dressing room at halftime.
As pressure continues to mount on Spurs , and the possibility of yet another managerial change given their horrendous run of form under Igor Tudor, it was Igor Jesus who headed home at the far post past Guglielmo Vicario to send the traveling support into rapture.
It's Forest's first lead in the Premier League under Vitor Pereira since his February arrival, with Jesus adding yet another strike in enemy territory, with only Erling Haaland, Igor Thiago, and João Pedro scoring more away goals than the former Botafogo standout.
