Dias Nears New Man City Deal: Key Defender to Stay Beyond 2027
Rúben Dias is close to signing a new Manchester City contract with the defender currently having two seasons remaining on his current deal.
The Portuguese centre-back joined the Citizens from Benfica in September 2020 for an initial £61.64 million.
Since then Dias has been a key part of Pep Guardiola 's team playing 222 games in total for the club. Dias was named the Premier League and Manchester City's Player of the Year in his first season and was an important part of the treble winning side of 2022/23.
