Premier League and F1 fans paid £250 to switch to this Virgin Media sports package
Virgin Media's sport packages provide full Sky Sports coverage of the Premier League.

Virgin Media is paying sport fans up to £250 if they switch to one of its TV packages this month. This means fans of the Premier League, Formula 1, rugby, darts and more can avoid upcoming price rises introduced by rival providers and claim a £250 switching credit .
The deal is available with Virgin’s £52.99 Sport bundle , providing more than 200 channels plus nine from Sky Sports including Main Event and F1. With this, customers can tune into Sky’s full coverage of the final stage in the Premier League, every Grand Prix weekend, plus the Carabao Cup final and The Masters.
Customers securing this offer will also receive a free Netflix subscription and 516Mbps fibre broadband, with Sky Atlantic due to be added from April 1. New Virgin customers signing up for the deal can claim a bill credit of up to £250 to cover early termination fees charged by their current provider, potentially providing several months of free service.
However, Virgin has confirmed customers must sign up by April 1 to get the deal . It’s also up for grabs with the combined £64.99 Sport + Cinema bundle , which is packed with the same TV and sport benefits but also includes a Sky Cinema subscription.
This provides access to Sky’s ever-growing library of more than 1,000 films on-demand. All of these benefits are also included with the £76.99 Max Volt bundle , which Virgin claims is its best value package.
What sets this apart from its cheaper alternatives is its ultra-fast 1,130Mbps broadband, alongside more than 230 TV channels, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Netflix. Also, Max Volt members receive an O2 SIM card with unlimited data, minutes and texts at no extra cost.
With each of Virgin’s sport bundles, there’s an option to add extra such as TNT Sports for £25. This works out cheaper than signing up directly with the broadcaster at £30.99 per month.
A crucial thing to consider when switching is that Virgin has confirmed its prices won’t rise in April, with its rates now locked in for 12 months. However, a downside is that customers will still face a bill increase in April 2027, when monthly prices rise by £4.
Virgin's sport customers can catch every practice, qualifier and race in the Formula 1 2026 season.

Virgin’s Sport bundle rivals Sky’s own deals, such as the £35 Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle . While more affordable than Virgin, Sky’s plan comes with less benefits, with around 100 fewer channels no broadband included.
To secure Virgin’s £250 switch deal , customers need to enter their postcode on the site to ensure they’re covered and choose their deal. They can then checkout using the One Touch Switch, which allows Virgin to complete the changeover without the customer having to contact their current provider.
Once everything is confirmed, Virgin will be in touch with how to claim the switching credit, which will be applied as a bill credit. It’s worth noting the amount available is based on the termination fee charged by the current provider.
