Liam Rosenior has revealed Chelsea have caught the mole who leaked his starting line-up for both Champions League games against Paris Saint-Germain.

Chelsea’s team was reported by French media eight hours before their last-16 first leg last Wednesday, which the Blues went on to lose 5-2 at the Parc des Princes.

That included the detail that Filip Jorgensen was starting in goal ahead of Robert Sanchez.

Then there were parts of Rosenior’s team selection for Tuesday’s second leg that were again reported early by French media, including that Jorrel Hato would partner Trevoh Chalobah at centre-back with Wesley Fofana dropped and Malo Gusto not involved due to illness.

Chelsea looked into the matter internally. It is understood that the ‘mole’ who leaked the Chelsea starting XI is considered by the club to be external and that the leaks did not come directly from a player.

“We know [who it is],” Rosenior said on Thursday. “And it's not come from any place of malicious intent to me or to the team.

“We know where it's come from and we've dealt with the situation.”
