CAF Cup: Nairobi United advance to the next round
Nairobi United have qualified for the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 1-1 draw against Uganda's National Enterprises Corporation (NEC) at Nyayo Stadium.
The Kenyan club progressed thanks to the away goals rule, with the aggregate score tied at 3-3. NEC struck first in the 27th minute through Charles Waibi following a defensive error by Nairobi United. Trailing at halftime, the Kenyans responded in the second half. In the 65th minute, Duncan Omala netted the equaliser, securing qualification for his side.
