Bouanga has been one of the most prolific scorers in MLS since joining LAFC in 2022, bagging 66 goals and 21 assists in the league during his SoCal spell.

“At this club, performance matters,” said LAFC Co-President & General Manager John Thorrington. "Denis has delivered at an elite level with historic consistency since the day he arrived, and he has helped us win multiple trophies."

"This new contract reflects that. We’re proud of what he’s accomplished here and are motivated to continue building on that success together.”

Bouanga, along with superstar forward partner Son Heung-min, started the 2026 campaign off in style, opening the season with a 3-0 win over reigning champions Inter Miami over the weekend.
