Bayern Unveil Bold Retro-Inspired Third Kit for 2025/26
Bayern Munich have revealed their striking new third kit for the 2025/26 season – and it’s a bold fusion of tradition and streetwear, loaded with subtle details and retro throwbacks.
Designed in collaboration with adidas and style collective BSTN, the shirt features a black base with deep red, green and off-white accents, creating a tonal checkered pattern that gives it a contemporary, urban edge.
But what makes this drop truly standout is its nod to club history: the classic FC Bayern eV badge from the 1920s is restored for this kit, joined by the iconic adidas Trefoil logo – both symbols tying the club’s heritage into the present.
Inside the collar sits the phrase “From the South. From the Heart.” , a tribute to the Bavarian spirit that fuels the club.

On the hem? A fine detail with meaning – a motif and inscription reading “Greetings from the Town Hall Balcony” , referring to Marienplatz, the iconic city square where Bayern celebrates trophies with fans year after year.
The new third kit will make its on-pitch debut in Bayern’s pre-season clash against Tottenham Hotspur on August 7, and will feature prominently throughout their Champions League campaign – a competition they hope will end, once again, with a victory celebration back on Marienplatz.
The jersey is available now from Bayern's official club store, adidas ' official website and select global retailers.
