Arsenal facing transfer dilemma over four stars with contract issue

Four Arsenal players are staring down uncertain futures with their contracts edging closer to expiring, as the summer transfer window rapidly closes in. The Gunners face some significant decisions as they piece together their squad ahead of the new campaign.
Arsenal will head into next season as Premier League champions and will also be eyeing a return to the Champions League final, having been beaten by Paris Saint-Germain at the weekend in Budapest.
Before that, Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta will be hard at work weighing up where the squad could do with bolstering.
The club may also be taking stock of certain players' long-term prospects, and whether this summer presents a timely opportunity to cash in before their deals run down.
Four members of the Arsenal squad see their contracts expire in the summer of 2027, meaning they are on the verge of entering the final year of their current agreements.
Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus are both due to see their deals at Arsenal conclude at the end of the 2026/27 season.
The same applies to Gabriel Martinelli and Christian Norgaard, though both players are believed to have a 12-month extension clause in their contracts that the club can activate.
Norgaard only arrived at Arsenal last summer in a £12million switch from Brentford, going on to rack up 20 appearances in his debut season at the club.
Only time will reveal whether Arsenal opt to cash in on the players or hand them fresh contracts over the coming months.

Both Trossard and Jesus have already been linked with potential departures from Arsenal, though it remains uncertain if the Gunners will seek to offload both players when the transfer window opens.
Arsenal are anticipated to have a hectic window in terms of new arrivals, with journalist David Ornstein recently providing an insight into the club's summer strategy.
"The No.9 position is interesting," Ornstein told TNT Sports on Saturday. "A penny for the thoughts of Victor Gyokeres tonight, his first season, and he helped them to this final and then was put on the bench.
"Then the left-sided attack is a big priority for them, and they've been looking at it for a few years, and I think they may be the summer where they really go for something. They've got the options there."
