🍷 Welbeck continues quest to become Premier League record setter
Who says the prime age of a footballer is 30 and under? Not Danny Welbeck , that's for sure.
During Sunday's clash against Nottingham Forest , the striker proved once again why he is a true Premier League veteran with his tenth goal of the season.
Welbeck beat the marking of two defenders and managed to swivel toward the goal and strike the ball perfectly into the far left corner to turn things 2-1 minutes after Forest had equalized.
The Brighton striker has not only matched his best league scoring tally for a second consecutive season, but also proved that age is just a number.

Welbeck is the first player to score 10+ goals in consecutive Premier League seasons while aged 33 or older. The last to do so was Jamie Vardy in 2020/21 and 2021/22.
After debuting in the English top-flight some 18 years ago, be sure to soak up every moment he has to offer.
Might he go on to better Vardy and make it 10+ goals in three seasons in a row next year?
