Man Utd keeper Senne Lammens sends blunt warning to Premier League rivals

Manchester United goalkeeper Senne Lammens insists he will not be bullied by opponents at corners and long throw ins. And Lammens says he will go to war in the physical battle to defend his team.
Lammens found himself in the middle of a mass pushing and shoving match as Everton rained corners down on him during United's 1-0 win at the Dickinson Hill Stadium on Monday night. Some players found themselves thrown to the ground, including United defenders Harry Maguire and Leny Yorro.
But Lammens stood firm in the heat of battle to keep a clean sheet and further enhance his status as United's No.1 goalkeeper. The Belgium international is proving to be one of United's most influential stars in their renaissance under interim manager Michael Carrick.
And Lammens admits he will do whatever it takes to protect United's goal - irrespective of how bruising it becomes. He said: "Physically it was a big battle (at Everton), a big game, so I'm still recovering from that.

"I think it's been like this all season like this. For me it's just the way it is. It's the Premier League , it's the physicality and a bit of war in the box.
"But it's also one of my strengths. Everyone has to deal with it. It's not like only one team does it, it's just everyone in general.
"As a goalkeeper, you have to get used to that and train on it as well, and get better at it. I think I've been doing a good job at it, so I'll continue to do that.

"It's the best league but especially the physicality is the biggest difference. Everyone's trying to get as much goals as they want so they're trying new stuff.
"There are more bodies in front of you, but my team has helped me out as well with blocking the guys away from me. You have to be big and not be easy to be pushed around."
