Gyökeres' fine form continues with key equaliser vs. Bournemouth 💪

Bournemouth's early opener at the Emirates turned the pressure up on Arsenal to a new level.

Not that Viktor Gyökeres seemed to notice.

Having toiled in attack for most of the first half, the Gunners got a lucky break when Ryan Christie handled the ball in the box.

After a quick chat with Kai Havertz - who netted from the spot in Leverkusen last month - Gyökeres confidently stepped up and hammered the ball past Đorđe Petrović.

It made it seven goals from Arsenal's last nine Premier League games for the Swede, who also scored four times in the playoffs to help his country to the World Cup.

Gyökeres' improvements in front of goal have quietened the noise around his performances and now see him sit only behind Thierry Henry and Alexis Sanchez for debut season goals in the Premier League era.
