Frank Ilett’s haircut saga goes on as United stall, Brazil’s Série A five-win droughts listed

Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with West Ham in the Premier League on Tuesday extended viral fan Frank Ilett’s wait to cut his hair, a pledge tied to five wins in a row.

According to Globo.com, Ilett vowed to head to the barber only once United strung together five successive victories, and a run of four was halted by the stalemate.

His promise has now passed the one-year mark. United last won five on the bounce between January and February 2024.

The report also turns to Brazil, charting when each Brasileirão Série A club most recently pieced together five straight wins.

Chapecoense are close to nine years without such a streak, with Santos and Bragantino completing the three longest droughts.

Bahia are the only team to have posted five consecutive victories in 2026.
