🎥 Coventry start the celebrations to cap Championship title success 🏆
It's been quite the ride for Coventry City over the past 25 years.
Coventry were relegated from the Premier League in 2001 and have had a turbulent period over the following two and a half decades.
The Sky Blues struggled in the second-tier, hovering in the mid-table positions for several seasons, before dropping as low as League 2 in 2017/18.

The Midlands club rebuilt under Mark Robins and climbed back into the Championship in 2020 and reached the play-offs twice in 2023 and 2025.
However, Coventry eventually ended their long absence from the Premier League this season.
Under Frank Lampard's stewardship, the Sky Blues cinched the Championship title with two games to spare following a 5-1 win over Portsmouth on Tuesday.
But the celebrations really got started as the Sky Blues comfortably beat Wrexham 3-1 at the Coventry Building Society Arena and lifted the Championship title in front of an emotional crowd.
