Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all ready to test Aston Villa's resolve over Morgan Rogers in the summer transfer window but will face competition from Bayern Munich for the attacking midfielder.

Rogers, 23, has been a revelation since moving to Villa Park from Championship Middlesbrough in February 2024, recording 24 goals and 23 assists since the start of last season. His excellent form prompted Villa to tie him down to a new contract back in November - but that has not deterred interest from some of their Premier League's rivals and Europe's elite.

Both Arsenal and United are keen on adding a quality left-sided forward option to their respective squads in the summer transfer window, with Rogers comfortable in several attacking positions. Chelsea, like Arsenal, made their interest known in Rogers last summer and also retain a strong interest in the England star.

Mirror Football understands that Bayern Munich are also admirers of Rogers, who impressed in the Champions League for Villa last year. And they could offer him the chance to continue his upward trajectory overseas as part of the swashbuckling team that has plundered 100 Bundesliga goals already this term under Vincent Kompany.

While Rogers' profile and value could rise significantly with a strong showing at the World Cup, Villa would demand in excess of £80million to part ways with the 2024-25 PFA Young Player of the Season.

And while Villa would be reluctant to lose a player of Rogers' quality, selling him for such a mammoth sum would help soothe financial concerns.

It has been documented in recent weeks that Manchester United are working on targets for the left wing position as well as an overhaul of their central midfield options in a summer where they will also appoint a permanent manager.

Arsenal are also expected to refresh their attack in the summer and are long-term admirers of Rogers, who was linked with a stunning transfer last summer.

The Gunners would likely decide to cash in on either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli, their current left wing options, in order to finance a move for Rogers and space for him within their squad.

The former has just a year remaining on his current contract at The Emirates, while Martinelli has struggled to rediscover the type of form that made him a key figure in Mikel Arteta's team previously, scoring just once in the Premier League this season.
