Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane reflects on thrilling 5-4 defeat to PSG
Harry Kane says Bayern Munich stand a good chance of progressing to the Champions League final if they replicate the levels they did against PSG in their semi-final first leg.
Bayern go to the second leg in Munich a goal behind after a thrilling 5-4 win for PSG , but Kane is taking plenty of positives from the loss.
“We had moments where we could have been more clinical with the final pass or the final finish but we felt like as the game went on, we got better and better,” Kane reflected.
“I know there was nine goals today but it’s essentially 1-0 so we’ve got nothing to lose. We’ve just got to play with the same intensity. I think we’re at our best when we’re physical in the one v one duels and we’re making contact, that’s when our chances come so we’re going to need more of that next week.
“It will be who takes their moments. There were a lot of moments out there today and next week will probably be the same.
“Us being at home with the crowd behind us at the Allianz can hopefully push us over the line.”
