Who are Deborah Ronchi and Emanuele Buttini? The 'bosses' of the prostitution plot in Serie A
T he luxury prostitution scandal that is rocking Italian football has two names at the epicentre of the plot: Emanuele Buttini and Deborah Ronchi, the owners of an events agency called Made Luxury Concierge. The two are under arrest along with two other collaborators, Alessio Salamone and Luan Fraga, accused of aiding and abetting prostitution
The list of footballers allegedly involved in this scheme is extensive and has turned the world of football upside down: Dean Huijsen, Victor Osimhen, Luca Pellegrini, Matteo Cancellieri, Alessandro Buongiorno, Samuele Ricci, Daniel Maldini and Wayne Rooney, among others. The network operated in famous venues in Milan but also organised events in luxury tourist destinations such as Mykonos or St. Barth. They offered complete packages of hotel, restaurant, night out at the best clubs and sexual encounters.
The Italian police are also investigating the use of nitrous oxide, better known as laughing gas, as a recreational drug. It is a substance that leaves no trace in the body, although it can cause serious after-effects, and one that footballers seem to have taken a liking to all over Europe.
The photos of Emanuele Buttini with the footballers have quickly gone viral. He also appears in a picture with Usain Bolt, which demonstrates the power and influence he had with the world's most famous sportsmen. There are said to be 70 footballers involved who play or have played in Serie A in the past. The network's income could amount to 1.2 million euros. There will be no criminal consequences for the footballers, only for the pimps. A Formula 1 driver, a personal friend of some of the AC Milan or Inter players, is also said to be involved. "I'll send you the Brazilian," is heard in one of the wiretaps published exclusively by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
