Newcastle United have endured a turbulent 2025/26 Premier League campaign, but Eddie Howe's Magpies remain in with a chance to push for European football late in the season as they lock horns with Crystal Palace .
And so far, it's going to plan for a Toon Army on the march in the capital this afternoon, taking a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to a determined effort from Danish striker William Osula .

The 22-year-old did well to tap home from extremely close range in the 43rd minute while on the turf to beat Dean Henderson after Lewis Miley picked his run out in the centre of the box.
It was just the second-ever Premier League start for Osula, and his first goal for Newcastle in that capacity, adding to three he has scored off the bench.
