Nottingham Forest have sacked manager Sean Dyche overnight with Vitor Pereira the leading candidate to replace him at the City Ground.

Dyche was dismissed hours after the club were held to a goalless draw at home to the Premier League ’s bottom side Wolves , leaving them just three points above the relegation zone with 12 games left to play.

Forest are now on the hunt for their fourth manager of the season having sacked Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecogelou earlier in the campaign.

Dyche’s reign in charge lasted just 114 days.

Former Wolves boss Pereira is thought to be an early contender for the job, The Athletic report.
