Yankuba Minteh is among a number of attacking players Liverpool could move for in the summer as they weigh up the best options in their search for a Mohamed Salah successor.
The Reds' attacking talisman, 33, announced last month that this would be his final season at Anfield . Salah will depart without serving the final year of the contract he signed last April and the Premier League champions are now faced with the daunting prospect of replacing a club legend.
A host of different names have already been linked with the Reds as the end of the season draws closer, including players who currently belong to Premier League rivals.
And Minteh is the latest to mentioned as a possible summer target after finding his feet at Brighton , per The Mail .

The Gambia international, 21, has registered just six goal contributions in the league this season but has tormented defenders for the Seagulls, who paid out £33million to bring him to the club from Newcastle .
Crucially, Minteh is a known quantity for Arne Slot , who worked with the winger during his time in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord.
Yan Diomande is another player in the frame, with the report noting that the RB Leipzig winger has been scouted extensively by the Premier League giants.

Liverpool are unlikely to be the 19-year-old's only suitors, though. And with Leizpig expected to demand an astronomical €100m (£87.3m for Diomande's services, they could decide to look elsewhere.
Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure is another player of interest, though it remains to be seen if he is the club's top target to replace Salah.
Salah will not be the only Anfield icon moving on to pastures new this summer after the club announced the impending departure of their long-serving left-back, Andy Robertson, on Thursday night.

In a statement, the club said: "Liverpool FC can confirm Andy Robertson will bring his Reds career to an end at the conclusion of the current season.
"After nine hugely successful campaigns at Anfield, the Scotland captain will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract this summer.
"He will do so as a genuine Liverpool legend, having played a fundamental role in the successes of recent years over the course of his 373 appearances to date.
"Signed from Hull City in 2017, Robertson has won two Premier League titles, a Champions League , the FA Cup and two League Cups, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Community Shield.
"However, celebration of Robertson’s Liverpool legacy is firmly on hold until the conclusion of the campaign, with the No.26 fully focused on helping the Reds end 2025-26 as successfully as possible."
