LAFC superstar Son Heung-Min gets playful with teammate Denis Bouanga
LAFC superstar Son Heung-Min was really digging teammate Denis Bouanga 's new haircut, as he couldn't stop touching the forward's head.
Bouanga & Son 's year two is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated storylines in Major League Soccer, as LAFC looks to build on a partnership that transformed its 2025 season and reset expectations across the league.
After Son joined the club, he and Bouanga combined for 25 goals and eight assists across league play and the postseason. LAFC closed the year with a 9-2-4 record during that stretch, surging up the standings and becoming one of the most feared teams in the league.
As LAFC enters the new season, the sequel carries even higher expectations. Opponents now know what Bouanga and Son can do together, but stopping them is another matter entirely. With a full offseason to prepare and a year of shared experience already behind them, Bouanga & Son: Year Two has all the makings of another blockbuster for LAFC and for MLS as a whole.
