Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has claimed he is bidding to buy a majority stake in Chelsea Football Club. The businessman - who has made many bold claims about his wealth in the past - has claimed he is looking to purchase the Premier League football club.
The club is owned by consortium BlueCo, which is led by American businessman Todd Boehly. The purchase went through back in 2022 for a whopping £4.25 billion - but Lee says change is afoot.
He has made regular claims about his wealth since coming to prominence after marrying Katie Price . The pair tied the knot just two weeks after meeting and are still together at present.

He claimed he has purchased them a property in Dubai, which he says cost £36 million. He also claimed that he paid for the property in cash, but Katie later said she wouldn't been relocating to Dubai.
"There’s a bit of a verification process and I’ll only obtain 55 per cent, obviously for quite a large amount. I can’t tell you all the workings and inner parts to my wealth but definitely the money is there. And they have to accept and they have to verify, but it will be going in. It sounds crazy, it sounds ambitious, but watch this space," he told The Sun.
During a recent interview, Katie responded to the claims that her husband had a PhD from Cambridge University as well as rumours he was banned from leaving Dubai following alleged fraud.
During an interview on Good Morning Britain , host Ed Balls said: "His passport says that he's a doctor, it's reported that he has a PhD from Cambridge, but Cambridge University said they had never heard of him."
Katie responded: "He doesn't have a PhD from Cambridge, it's one in Spain. That's for him to say that he's got his PhD, but it's not from Cambridge, I don't know where that came from, he hasn't got a PhD from Cambridge at all but he has got a PhD."
Claiming her husband also has a "diplomatic passport" - which is only issued to government officials and diplomats - she insisted it was true and then added: "I've seen everything I need to see, on his diplomatic passport, it's Doctor Lee Andrews, on his normal passport, it's Wesley Lee Andrews."
Katie's marriage happened without her family's knowledge, and her mum was said to be "traumatised" by the sudden nuptials. It has also seemingly caused trouble between Katie and her sister Sophie, with fans spotting tension in a recent podcast episode.
