Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur Premier League preview, team news and prediction

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to break their winless streak at the 10th attempt as they face Fulham in Sunday’s London derby at Craven Cottage. Spurs have failed to win any of their nine Premier League matches in 2026, most recently suffering a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal, while Fulham come into this fixture buoyed by a 3-1 victory over Sunderland
Igor Tudor’s Premier League debut as Spurs manager came against the toughest opposition, with injuries further compounding his challenge. Although Tottenham managed to level through Randal Kolo Muani after Eberechi Eze’s opener, they ultimately succumbed to two more goals from Viktor Gyokeres and another from Eze in the second half. Tudor admitted his side were second best, and with Spurs languishing in 16th place, their top-flight status is under serious threat. Tottenham are now at risk of matching their longest-ever Premier League winless run of 10 games, last set under Ossie Ardiles in 1994. However, they have fared better away from home, collecting 19 of their 29 points on the road and scoring twice in three of their last four away matches across all competitions.
Fulham, meanwhile, have also been productive on their travels, netting multiple goals in three of their last four away games, including a 3-1 win at Sunderland thanks to a Raul Jimenez brace and a late Alex Iwobi goal. That result ended a three-game losing streak and helped Fulham reclaim 10th place, just three points off Brentford and a potential European spot. At home, Fulham enjoyed a strong festive run with four wins and a draw from five games between late December and late January, though that streak ended with a loss to Everton in February.
Last season, Fulham defeated Spurs 2-0 in this fixture, and their 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November puts them on the verge of completing their first league double over Spurs since the 2003-04 season.

Tottenham have received two pieces of positive injury news ahead of Sunday’s derby, with both Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso returning to training and expected to be available for the trip to Craven Cottage. Micky van de Ven has also been declared fit despite a minor toe issue. However, Dejan Kulusevski (knee), James Maddison (knee), Rodrigo Bentancur (thigh), Mohammed Kudus (thigh), Ben Davies (ankle), Lucas Bergvall (ankle), Wilson Odobert (knee), Destiny Udogie (thigh), and Cristian Romero (suspended) all remain unavailable.
The returns of Porro and Danso could be crucial for Tottenham, as both defenders are well-suited to Tudor’s preferred 3-5-2 formation and may be reinstated to the starting lineup immediately.
On the Fulham side, their win at Sunderland came at a cost, with attacker Kevin forced off before halftime due to a foot injury that will require surgery, potentially sidelining him for several weeks. Kevin’s absence could give Oscar Bobb a chance to start in the London derby, while Samuel Chukwueze (calf) is also nearing a return and could be an option. Antonee Robinson (ankle) and Sasa Lukic (thigh) have also resumed full training, but manager Marco Silva is unlikely to make unnecessary changes to the team that convincingly defeated Sunderland.
