Manchester United moved back into the top four of the Premier League with a narrow 1-0 win over Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Benjamin Sesko was the match winner off the bench, netting the winner after a swift counter attack that stemmed from Matheus Cunha’s sweeping ball to find Bryan Mbeumo, who then had the awareness to find his centre-forward.

Michael Carrick’s men were out to take advantage of Chelsea’s dropped points against Burnley on Saturday, and they duly did so, consolidating their place back in the Champions League places to extend the former midfielder’s unbeaten streak in his caretaker spell.
