Europa League play-off round draw: Forest face Fenerbahce

Nottingham Forest and Celtic have been handed tough draws in the Europa League’s play-off round.

Forest have been drawn to face Turkish Süper Lig side Fenerbahce in the play-off round. Sean Dyche’s side will take on the Istanbul outfit over two legs next month.

Fenerbahce endured a mixed league phase campaign but boast a strong contingent of former Premier League players in their squad, including ex-Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson and former Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.

Celtic also face a difficult challenge in the play-off round. The Scottish champions will take on Stuttgart, winners of the DFB-Pokal in Germany last season.

Aston Villa are already through to the last 16 after securing a second-placed finish in the league phase. The top eight from the league phase will face the victors of the play-off round ties in the Round of 16.
