Arsenal are guaranteed to finish above north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in what Gunners' fans have labelled St Totteringham's Day. Spurs' 2-1 defeat at Fulham on Sunday afternoon ensures it is the earliest stage of a Premier League season that Tottenham cannot finish above Arsenal .
Fulham raced into a 2-0 lead through a controversial Harry Wilson strike, before former Gunners star Alex Iwobi doubled the Cottagers' advantage. Richarlison pulled one back for Spurs in the second half, but his effort was in vain as Igor Tudor's side failed to make the most of defeats for relegation rivals West Ham United and Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Crisis-hit Spurs remain in 16th place, four points clear of West Ham in the final relegation spot with the other two places in the drop zone virtually assured to go to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley.

Tottenham did go six successive seasons finishing above Arsenal, but that came to an end in 2022. Since then, the red side of north London have had more success, while Spurs have sacked three permanent managers.
