Which Super Bowl winners coincided with a FIFA World Cup?

A ccording to the president of the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) , Italian Gianni Infantino , next summer in the United States, Mexico and Canada there will be 104 Super Bowls , giving each of the games of the 2026 World Cup the importance of the stellar championship game of the National Football League (NFL) .

However, beyond these phrases, what is a fact is that we already know that in 2026 the real Super Bowl LX will be played by the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, a venue that will host the world's top national team tournament.

The Super Bowl has been held every year since 1967 and the World Cup every four years since 1930, with a break between 1938 and 1950 due to World War II . If we do the math, there have been 14 years in which there has been a Super Bowl champion, lifting in all cases the Vince Lombardi Trophy , and a men's soccer world champion, who in 13 of those occasions lifted the FIFA World Cup , with the exception of Mexico 1970 where it was still the Jules Rimet Trophy .
