When can Arsenal win the Premier League title and how many points do they need after Man City slip-up
Time to start marking your calendars, Gunners fans
A huge night of Premier League action has left Arsenal firmly in charge of the title race.
A hard-fought, and at times turgid, narrow win at Brighton has seen the Gunners move seven points clear of Manchester City , who were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest .
Bukayo Saka’s early goal was enough to see off the Seagulls in their own backyard, with the Gunners again leaning on time-wasting tactics with little sign of attacking intent.
Despite leading at half-time, their xG was just 0.01, and it took until the 88th minute for them to register their second shot on target. David Raya went down three times, appearing to feign injury.
The approach brought anger from Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler , who claimed after the game that he would “never try to win that way”, adding that: “Arsenal just do what they want.”
City still have a game in hand over Arsenal , and will welcome Mikel Arteta & Co. to the Etihad Stadium on April 19. But the title is no longer in their hands.
Despite twice taking the lead against relegation-threatened Forest, Antoine Semenyo and Rodri's goals were cancelled out each time by Morgan Gibbs-White and Elliot Anderson .
Arsenal now have eight games left of the Premier League season, while Man City have nine.

With City now relying on Arsenal to drop points in the run-in, the Gunners have never been in a more comfortable position in the title race.
If Arsenal win all of their remaining Premier League fixtures, including beating City at the Etihad on April 19, they can be crowned champions with victory at West Ham on May 9.
Even if City also win every game but lose to Arsenal , they will still be 10 points behind the Gunners after playing Brentford on May 9, with just three games left to play.
If Man City drop points in any game before that, against West Ham, Chelsea, Burnley or Everton, and Arsenal keep on winning, then the title will be decided even earlier.
Arsenal face Fulham at home on May 2, while City are away at Everton.
City will need to lose two games, including one against Arsenal , and drop points in another, for Arsenal to be crowned champions in April.
