West Ham booked their FA Cup quarter-final place by seeing off fellow Premier League side Brentford on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

The Hammers have hit exactly two goals in two of their three FA Cup ties this season, and both of those games saw both teams find the net. Leeds, meanwhile, have faced Championship opposition in each of their three ties, with both teams scoring in two of those matches.

Leeds beat West Ham 2-1 when the sides met in the league earlier this season, but at the London Stadium the Hammers have won one and drawn one of the last four meetings between the clubs.

Form also leans West Ham’s way: they have lost just three of their last 13 in all competitions, while Leeds have won only four of their last 13 across league and cup.

Recent trends point towards goals at both ends too — three of West Ham’s last five have seen both teams score, and five of the last six head-to-heads have followed the same pattern.

West Ham will take on Leeds without former Whites winger Crysencio Summerville, who is set to miss a reunion with his old club as he continues to recover from a calf issue.

Jean-Clair Todibo is also a doubt with a similar problem, while Lukasz Fabianski remains sidelined by a back complaint and does not yet have a clear return date.

Kyle Walker-Peters, Taty Castellanos, Soungoutou Magassa, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tomas Soucek would all be ruled out of any potential semi-final if booked on Sunday, although only the latter three are likely to start.

For Leeds, left-back Gudmundsson returns after serving a Premier League suspension and is expected to be fit despite a minor knee knock picked up on international duty. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, however, is a doubt after pulling out of England duty with a hamstring strain, and Daniel Farke could not confirm he will be available.

Noah Okafor is back after a hamstring issue and was left out of Switzerland’s squad as a precaution, but there are no major concerns over his fitness.
