Tammy Abraham completes Aston Villa return
Tammy Abraham is back at Aston Villa , rejoining the club from Besiktas after the Turkish side made his loan move from Roma permanent just a day earlier.
The 28-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract, with Villa reportedly paying around €21 million (£18.25m).
Abraham is no stranger to Villa, having spent the 2018-19 season on loan from Chelsea , where he scored 25 goals and played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs.
Since leaving Stamford Bridge in 2021, he has played for Roma and had a brief but productive stint at Besiktas, netting 13 times in 26 games this season.
Villa manager Unai Emery had been keen to add another striker to complement Ollie Watkins , and Abraham was a long-standing target.
