Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing ex- Chelsea star Christian Pulisic following a standout season. The American winger, currently with AC Milan, has shone in Serie A over the past few campaigns following his exit from Chelsea.

He has 10 goals in all competitions for the Italian giants - that form following seasons in which he has hit 15 and 16 goals respectively. And it appears those displays have not gone unnoticed, particularly in the Premier League .

As per CalcioMercato , top-flight trio Man United , Arsenal and Tottenham are all keeping a close eye on the 27-year-old. It is suggested that any interested suitors could take advantage of Pulisic’s contractual situation - his current deal with AC Milan expiring in 2027.

It is believed that an offer of around €55m (£48m) would be enough to tempt the Serie A side into selling. Chelsea originally signed him for £57m from Borussia Dortmund back in 2019 but he struggled for consistency at Stamford Bridge, scoring just 26 times across 145 appearances.

They eventually sold him for around £20m. Pulisic has also been backed for a move to MLS in the near future but former Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel has suggested that he should only consider that switch later in his career.

Speaking to Goal, he said: "In the future, yes. It’s like this – just from a U.S. fan standpoint, I want as many of the best players for the national team playing at the highest level of competition they can, because that will make sure that the national team competes stronger against the world ’s elite.

"I like it when players don’t know when their next contract is coming, they always have the next young player pushing to take their spot, they have to always get better.

"If somebody came in like your Weston McKennie and your Christian Pulisic, they would have so much power at an MLS club, I would worry that they wouldn’t be focused on just getting better.

"Eventually I would love to see Christian and Weston and Tyler [Adams] come back and all these guys finish their careers in MLS. That would be great. But in the peak of their career, I don’t think MLS is there yet."

Pulisic is however expected to be one of the poster boys for the upcoming World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The winger has collected 82 caps for the US and scored 32 goals since his debut in 2016.
