Lamine Yamal sends strong message ahead of Atlético Madrid second leg: "If we get eliminated..."

F ollowing the bitter 0-2 result at the Spotify Camp Nou in the first leg against Atlético Madrid, Barcelona will head to the Metropolitano in search of a comeback to avoid elimination from the competition.

Both teams are analyzing all possible scenarios , including a potential end to their dream of lifting the coveted trophy. And it was in light of this possibility that Barça's young star, Lamine Yamal , made his stance clear.

Yamal's Strong Message

Goals by Julián Álvarez and Alexander Sorloth in the first leg put Lamine and Barça on the brink, as they must now keep a clean sheet and win by a margin of three goals or more in the second leg on Tuesday, April 14, or score at least two goals to force extra time and a penalty shootout. " I think it will be a 90-minute game or longer because we're certain this isn't over. I believe a comeback is very possible, and that's why we're here ," added Yamal.
