The Football Association have fined Chelsea and West Ham for 'behaving in an improper and/or provocative way' during last month's clash at Stamford Bridge. A mass brawl broke out in stoppage time of the Blues' dramatic 3-2 win when Adama Traore threw Marc Cucurella to the ground.
While the Hammers winger pleaded for a corner, Joao Pedro leapt to his teammates' defence and pushed him towards the advertising board. Traore stumbled, and began charging towards him.
Trevoh Chalobah raced onto the scene and stopped the Spaniard from getting his hands on Pedro. Jean-Clair Todibo, who was one of several players from either side to pile in, then put hands around the neck of the Chelsea striker.
The Video Assistant Referee, Michael Salisbury, and his assistant, Sian Massey-Ellis, watched back the incident from Stockley Park and requested an on-field review. After reviewing the footage on the pitchside monitor, Anthony Taylor showed the West Ham defender a red card.
